Arnold Janssen was born on the 5th of November 1837 in Goch, a small city in lower Rhineland (Germany). The second of ten children, his parent's instilled in him a dedication to work and a deep devotion to religion.

St. Arnold's Higher Secondary School, Vijay Nagar is an English Medium, unaided and Co-education institution affiliated to the C.B.S.E. (1030124) Delhi. It is owned and governed by St. Arnold's School Society, a subsidiary of the Society of the Divine Word, Central Indian Province, India. The President of the Divine Word Society, Indore is the proprietor of the school and the ex-officio chairperson of the Governing body of the school. The school managing committee is formed according to the norms set by the CBSE, consisting of representatives from parents, teachers, board representatives and the governing body of St. Arnold's School Indore, registered under the M.P. Societies. All matters regarding the day-to-day administration of the school, rules and regulations and policies are decided and governed by the Managing Committee.
