ADMISSION TO NURSERY
Parents, who are desirous of admitting their ward to Nursery in our school, must register his/her name by filling the application form in the beginning of January as and when the dates are decided. To fill the form, parents should bring 2 passport size photographs of the child along with a Photocopy of the birth certificate from Municipality / Panchayat. Catholic parents shall produce a copy of the Baptism certificate as well.
ADMISSION TO OTHER CLASSES
Admission to other classes will depend on the number of seats available in each class. Details of the same will be put on the school notice board after the final results are declared.
ADMISSION TO STANDARD XI
Class X is a terminal stage in the Secondary School and Senior Secondary school Scheme of education followed by this school. Hence admission to Class XI in this school shall be a fresh admission to the Institution. An application form for admission to Class XI must be submitted immediately after the Board declares the result of Class X examination. Admission shall be subject to screening of all the students by the Principal which may include entrance test and screening by a team of staff, to decide the eligibility of the candidate for the group.
Our school offers the following groups with subject combinations as given below:
As the seats are limited, all students cannot be admitted to the above groups. Therefore, the criteria for selection and admission will be as follows: 1. The school will prepare a merit list, taking the average of the Internal Assessment and the Board Results of Class X. 2. Studens will be called along with their parents as per the merit list for counselling before the panel of teachers. 3. A student may get the group of his/her choice depending on his/her performance and availability of seats. 4. In case of tie in merit, the marks of English will determine the order of merit, and if the tie remains, the marks of Maths will be considered for Group A and marks of General Science for Group B and Social Science for Group C. 5. Apart from the academic criteria, the Conduct of a student should be minimum Good in the School Report Card after the Pre-Board Examination.N.B. :
1. Students and Parents not appearing for counselling will not be eligible for admission to Class XI.
2. Compartment cases will not be considered for Class XI even if they clear the subject later.
A student from any other school seeking admission to Class XI in this school must attach photocopies of the School Report Card (Class X) and the board exam marksheet along with the application and present the originals at the time of screening. Candidates will have to clear the entrance test for admission.
